When do you open for 2018?

Does Moos make their own Ice Cream?

Yes. We make all our own Hard serve Ice Creams, Yogurts and Italian Ices.

Does Moos except credit cards?

No. Due to the high cost of credit card processing and in an effort to keep our costs competitive we do not except credit or debit cards. We will except a check for cake orders or catering events.

Does Moos Cater?

Yes. From family gatherings to corporate events, town fairs, weddings, school fund raisers, employee/customer appreciation, indoor or outdoor we can cover all your Ice Cream needs!

Where are you located?

We are located in Derry NH at 27 Crystal Avenue and Salem NH on the corner of Route 111 and Ermer Road.

When do you open for the season?

Both Derry and Salem locations will open for the 2018 season on Saturday March 31st.

  • SUMMER June 16 through August 31 open noon to 10pm.
  • FALL September 1 through Early October noon to 9pm.

Salem

  • SPRING April 1 through June 15 open noon to 9pm.
    Noon to 9pm Saturday and Sunday
  • SUMMER June 16 through August 31 open Noon to 10pm.
  • FALL September 1 through Early October open 2pm to 9pm.

Why do I have to give a weeks' notice to order a custom cake?

We pour our ice cream cake molds when we make our tubs of ice cream. Some flavors are made 2 or 3 times a week while other flavors may only be made once every other week. So to avoid disappointment, we request as much notice as possible. We have a selection of our most popular flavor cakes available for immediate pick up.

What is Super-premium Ice Cream?

Moos Place makes a 16% Super-premium Ice Cream. To be called Super-premium an ice cream must contain at least 14% butterfat. We use locally sourced 16% crème.
